. the grey family .
I had the chance to photograph the Grey family this winter and their kids brought HUGE smiles to my face… polite, playful, loving, cuteness supreme, and really intelligent. when asked if they wanted to draw in the sand, they excitedly asked if they could do anything they wanted… of course, I answered! they didn’t draw hearts, names, flowers or anything else i’m accustomed to. nope, not anything like that.
instead, they beamed with the freedom to draw anything at all + each got to work… I sat amazed as they each wrote a long strand of numbers stretched across the sand–22 digits of pi.
kids will always amaze me. love.
. the richardville family .
photographed in his mommy’s tummy, then a couple weeks old, and now? running around, laughing, squealing and a serious trooper in 3 adorable outfits…
SO cute. was thrilled watching as they pulled out their recliner, lamp and other props from home–amazed it all fit in the car– it was like Mary Poppin’s magic carpet bag!!!!
their items not only beautifully complimented the shoot, but it was fun to incorporate things they lovingly use each day (the blanket beside the basket is actually a table cloth they’ll use nightly…. he loooves sweeping with his broom each day) adorable.

baby hank is getting so big!!!!!!
feels like yesterday, i photographed him ‘fresh outta the gate! So lucky to have been there for his parents’ big moments over the years and look forward to celebrating Hank’s 1st birthday in a couple of months. there will be photographs taken, yes, but equal amounts of kisses for the little guy. love seeing him.
