seeing the boys walk up to my studio this winter made my jaw drop! i have known and photographed the Karlich family for years now… their boudoir, engagement, wedding, and portraits as the family grew. however, i hadn’t seen them in a few years and was stunned at how much they’ve grown (along with a new addition- a bouncing baby boy!) i’m in awe and taking mental notes at their parenting; as the three boys are honestly some of the sweetest, most well behaved and beautifully loving kids i’ve seen… i was so happy to see everyone and cannot wait to continue watching them as they grown into young men!!!!
thank you for letting me in all these years. you guys always make me smile…
lisa + greg married in beautiful manhattan beach… the affair was exceptionally planned, with every aspect filled with beauty. the exquisite vintage get away car and her delicate veil especially stole my heart… yum.
the reception was full of life, laughter and fun for all those who celebrated… the photo booth was a huge hit (what can i say, if there’s a photo booth, chances are – i’m in it), food scrumptous, and decor romantic… love.
it was amazing to celebrate with these two after sharing in their engagement session and couple’s boudoir so far…

baby zachary and his parents came in to celebrate his half birthday! i looooved having him photographed on that exact day and thought it was such an adorable milestone… lots of laughter, bubbles, blocks and smiles…

we’ve had so much fun this past year… from their downtown LA + fire escape engagement session, sexy boudoir, to jetting to Hawaii for their intimate nuptials; I’ve loved becoming a part of their lives and celebrations. Although their wedding was a quiet escape for 14 people; their reception was the opposite- giving them a perfect blend of intimacy and an awesome bash for 300.
michelle of mint julep, as always, orchestrated with such ease and attention to detail… decor, mood, music, delicious food, and a mix of friends + family made it a stellar night.

This Fall, Krista Malinin asked if I’d attend a charity event hosted by Sonny McLean’s in Santa Monica to take some photographs as the night unfolded… I was thrilled to be there photographing the mounds of support from family, friends and celebrities, most of whom proudly wore Team Stacie shirts as they rooted Stacie on…Celebrities stepped in to bartend throughout the night (Megan Fox, Brian Austin Green, D.B. Sweeney, and Jay Harrington, just to name a few…) and Goo Goo Dolls members, Mike Malinin and John Rzeznik, spontaneously performed ‘Slide’. a huge hit with the crowd…

i watched as these two love birds married in 2008 at the westlake village inn…so, it was amazing to see them again and to meet their little girl! we caught up and played at the park while i photographed sweetie pie avery. she was all smiles and giggles!
