Lauren + Jason were married at La Venta Inn! But before they tied the knot, we headed downtown to photograph portraits and a dreamy picnic setting…. Lauren was inspired by a picnic engagement that my good friend and fellow photographer, Caroline Tran, recently photographed! Lauren headed to local flea markets and vintage shops to create the look she envisioned and completed the scene with a new table cloth they plan to use within their dining room. Love that pieces of the shoot will be incorporated into their lives as a married couple…

These two lovebirds recently relocated (in the midst of wedding planning!) from NYC to LA, and incorporated their adoration for big city elements into their day’s amazing vibe. Beginning with their first meeting in front of their awaiting taxi cab, the city feel continued throughout the day.

And their choices made me giddy, especially the inflatable lighting elements, which were dreamy and provided such a unique ambiance… LOVE.

i’ve had the pleasure of becoming the best of friends with my photographer, Laura Turner, who photographed my own wedding, pregnancy, family portraits, and boudoir session (most recently in her studio) over the years. So, to have the opportunity to give her photographs as well, documenting her family, is wonderful. We photographed her second pregnancy within her Ventura studio and had a blast. Love her and her family… enjoy the belly bringing forth baby Wade in the coming month…

Jamie + Tim will marry in beautiful Ojai, at the Lavender Inn this Fall and I cannot wait… For their engagement, we headed to downtown LA to photograph in an area Jamie had found and loved… and now, i’m smitten. It’s incredible and I LOVE the area… We had a blast and played in the cornfields, metro and city areas… beautiful!

Delia + Ramit made the ultimate grand entrance toward their ceremony. As sunset approached, a part of Ocean Ave. in Santa Monica was closed so they could embrace tradition by arriving to the wedding celebration with Ramit atop a beautiful elephant, Delia carried and family members on horseback… It was incredible as both loved ones and onlookers cheered them on down the streets of the city… The ceremony was held underneath the mandap, and their desire for the reception was it being a big party. Photo booths, Karaoke, a large poker section and dance floor made it one big party… congrats you two, the celebration was so memorable and amazing!!!!
